Kendrick Rogers, a native of Mobile, Alabama, began his football career as a three-year starter at Mattie T. Blount High School from 1992 to 1996. Following his standout high school career, Rogers signed with Alabama A&M University in 1996, where he would go on to achieve significant success both on and off the field.

Redshirting his freshman year, Rogers made his mark as a defensive end in 1997, recording 14 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks. The following season in 1998, he transitioned to the offensive line, where he quickly established himself as one of the premier offensive tackles in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). That year, Rogers played a key role in an offense that averaged 353.3 yards per game, paving the way for 126 rushing first downs.

Rogers continued to excel in his collegiate career. In 1999, as a redshirt junior, he anchored the offensive line for an offense that averaged 360.7 yards per game. By his senior year in 2000, Rogers' leadership and performance earned him the title of Team Offensive MVP, as he once again led the offensive line for an offense that averaged 333.3 yards per game.

Throughout his time at Alabama A&M, Rogers earned numerous accolades:

• First-Team All-SWAC selection (1999, 2000)

• Black College Football All-American (2000)

• Preseason All-SWAC (1998)

His success culminated in national recognition when ESPN NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper ranked him as the No. 18 Offensive Tackle leading into the 2001 NFL Draft. Rogers became the first player in Alabama A&M history to receive an invitation to the NFL Combine and was the program’s first Blue-Grey All-Star Game selection and second participant in the prestigious Senior Bowl.

Rogers went on to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2001. He continued his NFL career with the Arizona Cardinals, playing three seasons before transitioning to NFL Europe, where he started at right tackle for the Frankfurt Galaxy. His international success was highlighted by winning the World Bowl Championship in 2003.

In recognition of his outstanding achievements, Rogers was inducted into the Alabama A&M University Athletic Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2019.

Following his playing career, Rogers dedicated himself to coaching and mentoring the next generation of athletes. His coaching experience includes:

• Bob Jones High School (2008): Assistant Offensive Line Coach

• Ardmore High School (2009): Offensive Line Coach

• Monrovia Middle School (2015–2018): Assistant Head Coach, achieving a combined record of 25-3 and winning the Tennessee Valley Middle School Championship in 2018

• Madison Academy (2019–Present): Offensive Line Coach, contributing to the team’s success as the 2023 AHSAA Class 4A State Runner-Up
